So if you only use the system once in a while for the CD or keep the same CD in all the time, excellent. The pnmuematic device is very weak.
No I'm not a sound geek, but I do enjoy listening to a variety of music, and this did a decent job of it. I have no problem with the sound.
Within one day the lift catch on the cd lid broke. Its no bose, or otherwise, but at the price it really is a decent system.
Unfortuneately its very delicate. The catch that holds the lid shut is paper thin and if you were to use it too much, or even not, its likely to break sooner then not.
Otherwise I wouldn't recommend this for anyone who changes cd's often or has someone that uses it who isn't exactly gentle with electronics.
